Pre-machining

• Pre-machining operations carried out in the foundry provides foundryman and machining operator an added value.
• For the foundryman it adds value to the part; for the machining operator it reduces machining time, because there is no finishing to be done.

SiiF has developed a pre-machining machine tool for cylinder heads and engine blocks (milling, drilling, etc.).

With cubic capacity, the pre-machining of castings is a plus point for the foundry.

Many operations can be carried out by the robotized cells or by the equipment integrated in it.
